Story: The first Lois Ehlert book that I read was RRRalph. This story is told by someone who has gotten a new dog. The owner believes that the dog can talk because he says his name is Rrralph. Rrralph sits on the roof, roof of his dog house. He likes the bark, bark on the tree. Ask your child to tell you what Rrralph hears outside of the fence.
The second book was Holey Moley. This book is narrated by a mole. He tells about how he lives underground. He eats worms but thinks they are getting boring. He is looking for tasty bugs to eat. He eats too many which makes him to big for his hole. Holey Moley!
Large Group: The children went outdoors for a Spring Scavenger Hunt. They were given a list of things to find. There were one or two that we could not find. Perhaps they can find them at home.
Snacks: The snack for today was Belvita bars, milk and water.
