Story: The story for today was Blueberries for Sal by Robert McCluskey. Sal and her mother are going blueberry picking. Sal picks a few blueberries and puts them in her pail. Then, she eats them. She decides to sit and eat blueberries instead of helping mother. On the other side of the mountain, a mother bear and her bear cub are eating blueberries. The cub sits down to eat berries too. Ask your child to tell you what happens when Sal starts to look for her mother and the little cub searches for his.

Fine Motor: The children sang the song "The Ant, the Bug, and the Bee". They completed the paper that helps us learn to make lines up, down, and around.
